Masseria Falasarna is located in the west of the island of Crete, 50 km away from the city of Chania, its airport and Souda port. The nearest village Platanos and the Falasarna Beach are 5 km away. The remarkable sites of Crete like Balos (20 km away) and Elafonissi (40 km away), are quickly accessible by small mountain roads along the sea: the charm of Crete!
How to come?
By plane: several companies in direct flights from England, on Chania and Heraklion by Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2 and British Airways, especially on Monday.
By ferry: from Piraeus (Athens), to the port of Souda (Chania) every day, by Anek lines.
The name "masseria" comes from Italian, it designates a large agricultural building. We find this type of farms especially in the south, in Sicily and Pulia, where many buildings have been renovated to make charming "agriturismo", our dream took shape there and we realized it in Falasarna in Crete!
Villa Masseria Falasarna has been designed in a soft and soothing style, in terms of colors, greige pastels, and in terms of materials, polished concrete, cement tiles and ironwork. These materials will give your stay a real feeling of great relaxation.
Masseria Falasarna is a villa that offers 4 independent rooms with sea view, able to accommodate up to 8 adults and 3 extra child beds. The whole Villa is air-conditioned.
On the ground floor, the villa offers a living space of 60 square metters : a kitchen openned on the dining room with high-end equipment, oven 80 cm, induction plates, American-style fridge with filtered water distribution and ice cubes, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and living room with U-shaped sofas to enjoy the view.
On the ground floor, a room that can accommodate a couple and a child, equipped with independent shower and toilet.
1st Floor: a living room with a large flat screen, three bedrooms with sea views equipped with independent shower and toilet.
Two bedrooms that can accommodate an extra "child" and two with the possibility of having two separate beds.
The bedding is "sleep on nature", COCOMAT.
On a terrace of more than 200 m², an infinity swimming pool of 10m x 5m, a summer kitchen with a barbecue and a wood oven, tables and chairs "Greek tavern" under a shady pergola. On top of that, the villa is built on a land of more than 5000 m², including fifty old olive trees and more than a hundred in "nursery"! This will satisfy the curiosity of any "budding farmer"!
Finally, a roof terrace of 100 m², a real promontory offering a 360° view of the surrounding nature during the day, and an open planetarium during the night!

Masseria Falasarna is an agrotourism because it is located in the middle of the olive groves, as far as the eye can see : it is located 1.5 km away from the asphalt road. For the access to the villa you will have to take an agricultural road, that is better to take with a SUV or a 4x4.

Masseria Falasarna is available for rent for stays of one week minimum, from saturday to saturday. Prices, all taxes included, per week, depending on the period:
